CS2 Aiming Tips: How to Improve Your Accuracy

Good aim is the foundation of CS2 gameplay. Here are essential tips to improve your accuracy.

Crosshair Placement

The most important skill in CS2 is crosshair placement.

• Head level: Always keep your crosshair at head height
• Pre-aim: Aim at common enemy positions before peeking
• Corner tracking: Follow the edge of walls as you move

Recoil Control

Every weapon in CS2 has a unique recoil pattern.

AK-47

1. Pull down for the first 7 bullets
2. Then pull down and slightly left
3. Finally pull down and right

M4A4

1. Pull down for the first 5 bullets
2. Then pull down and slightly right

Practice Routine

Daily Warm-up (15 minutes)

1. 5 minutes: Aim botz workshop map
2. 5 minutes: Deathmatch with AK-47
3. 5 minutes: Deathmatch with M4A4

Weekly Training

1. Recoil Master: Practice spray patterns for 10 minutes
2. FFA Deathmatch: Play 30 minutes focusing on headshots

Sensitivity Settings

Finding the right sensitivity is crucial.
